A Rhodes Black College Scholarships is maintained at the University of Oxford. Confirmation of Scholarship in the election, however, depends on acceptance of the Scholar-elect by universities and by faculty in question in the case of a research degree. This Black College Scholarships is initially for a period of two years, but if necessary, can be extended into the third year. Rhodes Trustees would consider granting a third year only if it is clear that the real additional year for an undergraduate research interests and future career. It is important to have a satisfactory conduct and general record for this. Two years is the minimum period (and a maximum of three years) who received Rhodes Scholarships can be awarded.
